THE 2012 COLOR OF THE YEAR

Each year Pantone the global authority on color, Forecasts the “Color of the Year”;

a hue that they project will influence development of

interior design, fashion, cosmetics, and graphic design.

You probably all heard that this year, the color is “Tangerine Tango”, otherwise known as PANTONE 17-1463. Spicy and spirited reddish orange that provides the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.

Song of the Day

"I'm singing in the rain

Just singing in the rain

What a glorious feelin'

I'm happy again

I'm laughing at clouds

So dark up above

The sun's in my heart

And I'm ready for love

Let the stormy clouds chase

Everyone from the place

Come on with the rain

I've a smile on my face

I walk down the lane

With a happy refrain

Just singin',

Singin' in the rain..."

1952 musical film starring Gene Kelly

Dancin' in the rain

Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah

Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah

I'm happy again!

I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!

 Let’s the rain inspired you!

Happy New Year!

"Cheers to a New Year and another chance for us to get it right."

Oprah Winfrey

October comes to an end this week..

Wait for Halloween night;

They hide behind trees, and bite your knees,

Make you scream with fright; …"

Summer Fades Into Fall

With the end of the Labor Day weekend, the traditional end of summer occurred.

 This year the first day of autumn occurs at 4:05 am on Friday, September 23.

 Nature and science have also determined that summer is over and fall is here.

Yes fall is here.

 Even thou the fall months can be tricky in Orange County, CA.

 I see some of the leaves are slowly turning color, which can only mean that fall is here! I can’t believe how quickly the summer has passed by!
I know it's always nice to transition into the cooler months of fall.

I love, love, love the gloomy, wet weather -
I'm looking forward putting on a scarves, and wearing my boots;
I'm looking forward to hot cup of Aja (Ethiopian hot oatmeal drink) on cool nights;
 I'm looking forward to big pot of homemade soup. Hmmm God bless fall!

Let the this gorgeous outdoor design inspire you to create your own cozy retreat for fall.

Wishing you fall beauty and peace to be with you :)

Curb Your Enthusiasm….

Pretty, Pretty, Pink

Enthusiasm originally meant inspiration or possession by a divine.

Now… In the modern age meant

Adventurous, constantly busy with many activities with all the energy and they grab life for its different joys …

 In la la beri design definition… the Enthusiast... should refers to ...

...Some who truly live in the pink moment?

Wishing you a Pretty, Pretty day :)
